As the President of the Maruthi Education Trust, he provides strategic direction and mentors all key institutional initiatives.

His vision and academic leadership have laid the foundation for MVK’s steady growth, helping the institution evolve into a centre of holistic and future-focused education.

Mr. V Muralidhara

Secretary, Maruthi Education Trust  

Beginning his career as a chemistry lecturer at Sarvodaya PU College, Mr. Muralidhara V has a unique professional journey that spans both education and banking.

After serving as a Bank Manager with the State Bank of India, he transitioned into teaching at MVK, where he has been a dedicated Physics and Mathematics educator for over 25 years. His commitment and leadership led to his election as the Secretary of the Maruthi Education Trust.

Through his disciplined administrative approach and deep connection with students and teachers, he has strengthened MVK’s operational efficiency and contributed significantly to its academic culture.

Mrs. Uma Prasad

Trustee, Maruthi Education Trust

With over 40 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Uma Prasad is a pillar of academic leadership at Maruthi Vidya Kendra.

She began her career as a Social Science teacher in Kozhikode and later spent three years teaching in the Maldives, gaining a valuable global education perspective. As the former Principal of MVK for more than two decades, she shaped the school’s academic ethos and teacher development standards.

A two-time NCERT awardee for innovative teaching, she continues to mentor teachers and engage closely with secondary school students. Her nurturing leadership and unwavering dedication have been central in shaping MVK’s identity as a student-centric institution grounded in strong values and innovative teaching practices.
